LEWIS MCKINNEY JOINS THE ASHCROFT GROUP
Washington, DC – Former U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft, Chairman of the Ashcroft Group, LLC, welcomed Lewis McKinney to the Ashcroft Group as its Chief of Business Development. McKinney will work out of both the Washington, DC area and the St. Louis offices.
McKinney worked as a business executive in the private sector for nearly three decades, most recently serving as a Regional Vice President of Government Affairs at Anheuser-Busch Companies. During his tenure at Anheuser-Busch, McKinney represented the company before legislative bodies in more than thirty states and the District of Columbia. In addition, McKinney worked with local, state and federal trade and industry groups on behalf of Anheuser-Busch.
As the Ashcroft Group continues to grow, McKinney will focus on finding new markets for the services provided by the professionals on the team across the country. McKinney will assist clients in a wide range of areas including strategic consulting, market intelligence and government affairs support at the federal, state and local level.

McKinney is a member of the St. Louis University Basketball Sports Hall of Fame and a former professional basketball player in the U.S and in France. McKinney brings the discipline and competitive spirit that he developed on the court to the boardrooms of corporate America.
