Robert McCampbell is a lawyer with Crowe and Dunlevy, P.C., an independent law firm associated with The Ashcroft Group LLC, and provides expertise in the areas of corporate compliance, internal investigation, regulatory issues, and litigation strategy. He has extraordinary experience dealing with complex, multi-faceted legal, financial, regulatory, and public relations issues.

From 2001 to 2005, McCampbell served as U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Oklahoma. He was active as a courtroom prosecutor, successfully trying several cases involving securities fraud, illegal internet drug prescriptions, homicide, and child prostitution.

After graduating from Yale Law School, McCampbell was in private practice from 1983 to 1987. He then served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney, focusing on the prosecution of financial crimes. In 1994, he returned to private practice where he was a civil and criminal trial lawyer until his confirmation as U.S. Attorney.

McCampbell is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and has tried cases in commercial contracts, insurance, government contracting, real estate, intellectual property, and unfair competition and has been lead trial counsel in more than 25 jury trials. He has worked on compliance, regulatory and internal investigation issues with numerous companies, particularly financial institutions, government agencies, and health care organizations. He has also represented several elected officials including the Oklahoma Governor and Speaker of the House.

McCampbell has served as Chair of the Oklahoma Center for Advancement of Science and Technology, Chair of the Attorney General’s Subcommittee on Sentencing, and Vice Chair of the Attorney General’s Subcommittee on Native American Affairs. He is listed in Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Law, Best Lawyers in America and has received honors and awards from the FBI, Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration, and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. He is rated AV by Martindale Hubbell.
