Co-founder and President of Ashcroft Group Consulting Services, Stacy Taylor provides strategic guidance to the Firm and advises on matters including compliance, special investigations and mergers and acquisitions. In addition to his strategic and advisory roles at Ashcroft Group Consulting Services, Mr. Taylor leads a highly specialized team of litigation strategists advising Fortune 500 companies in complex dispute resolutions and high stakes civil litigation. Since 1999, his team has provided strategies for the resolution of thousands of individual and mass tort cases with litigation claims in excess of $21 billion in actual settlements paid.

Mr. Taylor has been a successful business entrepreneur for over 20 years and maintains domestic and international holdings in a wide range of business enterprises including energy, manufacturing, retail and consumer distribution companies. In 1988 he founded The Standard Group of Companies (“SGI”) to underwrite and issue performance and payment bonds to contractors who worked on industry-diverse government and private contracts throughout the State of Texas. Under his leadership, SGI grew to 146 policy-issuing agency offices represented in 48 states, and maintained loss ratios ranging from 6 to 9% compared to the industry average of 24 – 31% for the same period. SGI was continuously ranked in the highest quartile of the top 100 surety underwriters in the United States. Mr. Taylor sold The Standard Group to a large, publicly traded national insurance company in 1998.

Mr. Taylor serves on the Boards of various private companies and non-profit organizations, including Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Southwestern Seminary Foundation, Houston Christian High School and the Council for National Policy in Washington, D.C.
